Colúr - Irish Music & Dance

Welcome! 

We are Colúr, a trio consisting of sean-nós (old-style) Irish step dancer Maldon Meehan, Autumn Rhodes on concertina, flute, tin whistle, uilleann pipes, and vocals, and Ben Roberts on fiddle, guitar, bouzouki, and vocals. 

Our performances combine traditional Irish and Appalachian tunes and songs with percussive dance.  With our tunes, we showcase how interwoven the music and dance have been throughout the centuries, featuring pieces from various parts of Ireland and America as well as through various times in history. In addition to instrumental pieces, we specialize in often never-before-recorded songs with a focus on storytelling and tight harmonies.

Our name means ‘pigeon’ in Irish. Ask us about it sometime!
